Building a Connected Continent
Meraki Infrastructure Rollout

Case Studies

Overview

We recently had the privilege of supporting a regional telecom leader on an incredibly meaningful journey, modernizing their network infrastructure across 14 African countries using Cisco Meraki. At a time when reliable connectivity is more important than ever, this project was about more than just technology. It was about enabling growth, improving access, and laying the groundwork for a more connected future.

The client set out with a clear goal to build a unified, scalable network that could support operations across diverse geographies from branch offices to technical sites. With Cisco Meraki’s cloud-managed firewalls, switches, and wireless access points, they envisioned a future ready, standardized infrastructure across the region.

We were humbled to be chosen as their partner for this large scale rollout, drawing on our experience across multi-country deployments and deep understanding of regional challenges.

The deployment was guided by five key pillars

  1. Thoughtful Planning & Governance
A centralized strategy and regional coordination kept the rollout on track and consistent across borders.

  2. Hands-On Field Support
Every site was carefully prepared with racking, cabling, inventory checks, and device installation.

  3. Seamless System Integration
Our team configured Meraki devices, optimized network policies, and ensured everything was documented and locally adapted.

  4. Enablement & Local Support
We provided hands-on training, validated compliance, and activated licenses to empower local teams with autonomy.

  5. Ongoing Managed Services
The story didn’t end at deployment, we continue to provide 24/7 monitoring, support, and coordination to ensure long-term reliability.

Deploying across 14 countries came with its share of hurdles from customs clearances and local power variations to site-specific nuances. But with strong collaboration, disciplined processes, and trust across all teams, we navigated each challenge together.

  • A standardized platform now powers operations across the continent.

  • Local teams are equipped to deliver cloud services to SMEs, helping bridge the digital divide.

  • Onboarding is faster, governance is centralized, and operations are far more efficient.

This rollout is just one chapter in a much larger story, the story of Africa’s digital transformation. We’re proud to have played a small role in helping build the foundation for greater connectivity, opportunity, and innovation across the continent.
